Sullivan County through its Parks and Recreation Department operates and maintains Lake Superior State Park, The Delaware and Hudson Canal Linear Park and Interpretive Center, Stone Arch Bridge Historical Park, Minisink Battleground Park, Livingston Manor Covered Bridge Park, and the Sullivan County Cultural Center (Museum) for its residents and visitors. Fort Delaware Museum of Colonial History is owned by the County but operated by The Delaware Company, which also handles programming at the Minisink Battleground Park. Our parks and museums can provide you with a wide variety of recreational and historical opportunities. We hope you will take some time to visit one or all of our parks and museums.

County Group Picnic Permit
Sullivan County through its Parks and Recreation Department extends an invitation to its residents and visitors to rent picnic pavilions located at three (3) of its County Parks. Pavilions are available on a first come - first serve basis. Groups consisting of 25 to 200 people may reserve a covered picnic pavilion at Lake Superior State Park (2 pavilions available), Minisink Battleground Park and Livingston Manor Covered Bridge Park. Each group picnic pavilion is furnished with 10 to 12 picnic tables and a group cooking grill. Permanent or temporary restroom facilities are located near all pavilions. A group picnic permit is also required for all groups consisting of 25 people or more who plan on using a county park.
